What we're reading and thinking about.

The 2026 wave of AI agents has finally made AEO infrastructure a forcing function for studio sites. Every site we ship now goes out with llms.txt, ai.txt, and a robots.txt that explicitly allows the major AI crawlers. We expect this to be table stakes by year-end and built into every default template.

On the engagement side, we're seeing more first-time founders this quarter than any since the studio started. The audit-first path is doing the work it was designed to do.

What's next.

Building proposal, deck, SOW, and invoice templates in the Spine system over the next six weeks. The site has the design language down; the contracting surfaces don't yet. That's the gap.
